As the designated programme Secretariat for the Schools2030 programme, the Aga Khan Foundation is searching for a dynamic Schools2030 Global Programme Manager who is excited and inspired by the opportunity to serve as the global focal point for the inaugural programme.
The Schools2030 programme offers the right candidate with the unique opportunity to work closely with a diverse coalition of leadership at the school and community levels to inspire national and global education system reform at scale.
The position will be based in the Aga Khan Foundation office in London and report to Schools2030 Global Donor Steering Committee and AKF’s Global Co-Leads in Education.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel frequently for in-country visits, high-level global policy forums, and strategic programme partnership engagement.
In addition, he/she will be expected to:
Manage the strategic and successful implementation of the Schools2030 global programme in collaboration with global and in-country partners across ten countries.
Ensure programmatic alignment of country-level work plans with global deliverables and priorities.
Coordinate global technical partnerships for programme delivery in educational research and practice across fields such as education technology, learning assessment, action research and design thinking.
Lead quality oversight through periodic review of monitoring tools, evaluative and programmatic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Innovate new ways through which the Schools2030 programme can best support and amplify schools’ local realities of ‘what works’ to strengthen quality learning education systems at scale.
Facilitate effective, creative, and meaningful strategic engagement with global donor, civil society and government partners in comparative and international education.
